Trellis Micro-grants: Round 3 Jury Revealed
Montreal, March 27—ELAN is proud to introduce the Round 3 Trellis jury. TMG wouldn't be possible without them!
These 27 members of Quebec's English-speaking arts community were selected to carry out the all-important task of choosing this year's grant recipients. Shielded from conflict of interest thanks to our anonymization policy, the jury managed the heroic task of narrowing down a huge field filled with very worthy projects to arrive at our final 15. Each project was first checked for mandate eligibility, then sent to a discipline-specific pod jury, and finally the remaining applications were evaluated by a Final Jury composed of representatives from each pod.

Chelsea dab Hilke: Chelsea Dab Hilke is a theatre director, producer, and dramaturg working in Montreal, St. John's, and across the country, facilitating new scripts, classic plays, and projects in development.
Johanna Griffith: Johanna Griffith is a visual artist working at the confluence of printmaking, textile art and alternative photography.

Catherine Muise: Cassie is an experienced actor, dancer, producer, and writer who is thrilled and honoured to be a juror on for the Trellis Microgrants. The best thing she ever created was her daughter, Beira.

Alice Shuang Wu: Alice Shuang Wu is a Montreal-based writer whose prose has been published in The Imagist, elementia, and CBC Books and whose play Countercurrents was nominated for the Frankie Award for Most Promising English Text at the 2025 Montreal Fringe Festival.
Matthew Rettino: Matthew Rettino is the author of the poetry chapbook Pilgrimages (Cactus Press, 2025) and a science fiction short story in Unréal, a forthcoming Canadian anthology.
Elise Moser: Elise Moser is a writer, editor, and culture worker living in Tio'tia:ke/ Montreal.

Nadia Frantova: Nadia Mytnik-Frantova is a Montreal-based designer, illustrator, media artist, and educator whose multidisciplinary practice brings together mixed media, collage, and narrative image-making to explore perception, sensory experience, memory, mythology, human authorship, and the impact of new technologies on artistic expression.

Matys Colpron: Matys Colpron is a multidisciplinary artist and composer based in the Montreal jazz scene, his ensemble features his eclectic pieces played by some of the city's greatest up and coming talent.

Eric Powell: Eric Powell is a sound artist, composer, teacher, and tinkerer bringing together maps, interactive technologies, and field recording to create unique interfaces for exploring sonic environments that challenge listeners to rethink the role of sound in their daily lives.

Dana Prather: Dana Prather is a Tiohtià:ke/Montreal-based emerging theatre artist, multidisciplinary creative, and arts administrator from Treaty 7 Territory.
Li Li: Li Li is a dynamic Montreal-based actress, producer, and cultural leader with over two decades of experience in the international entertainment industry.
Alison Podbrey: Alison Darcy is the co-founder/Co-Artistic Director of the award winning Montreal-based bilingual theatre company Scapegoat Carnivale and an established actor, director, dramaturge and teacher. She has received recognition for her work in theatre, film, VR and voice in Canada, the US, England and South Africa.

Alessia Canteros: Originally from Italy and Argentina, Alessia Canteros is an artist based in Tio'tia:ke / Moonyiang / Montreal. As a visual artist working primarily in drawing and printmaking, she fosters an interest for impermanence, crip time, and migration.
Crystel Pereira: Crystel Pereira is a visual artist in the Eastern Townships who obtained her BFA in painting and drawing at Concordia University in 2021.
